Teresia Otieno: The Resilence of Women with HIV

Teresia Otieno tells the often untold story of the “sisterhood” of women with HIV, and how the power of their experiences stands to build stronger communities. Although their stories have been outside the spotlight, women living with HIV have been organizing, supporting one another, and catalyzing progress in the community. Otieno is an East-African immigrant who makes it clear that hearing these stories holds value not only for those living with HIV, but society at large.
