Adrian Dominguez

Adrian Dominguez is an epidemologist of 30 years and a native community member by birth. He says that people assume everyone is doing well, but the fact is that HIV/AIDS is growing in the indigenous population at an alarming rate. Significant barriers exist around health care and discrimination in this special population. A sense of urgency is needed to address the stigmas that at times seem overwhelming, and Adrian’s care for his community shines a bright light on what must be done.
